If my goal is to hear from the Lord on the “big” things, why does it feel so inconvenient to hear from Him on what I perceive to be the small and insignificant things?

I started getting botox in my jaw (masseter muscles) 2 years ago. My sister-in-law is an amazing woman of God who has been called into the injectable and aesthetics space. She opened up her own med spa business a few years ago, and let me tell you, having access to the latest and greatest when it comes to injectables (filler & botox), skin procedures (microneedling, etc.), and medical-grade skincare is so fun.

Disclaimer: I’ve never gotten filler but I’ve thought about it. I initially wanted to do full-face facial balancing with filler. Have you heard of it or seen the before and after pictures? It’s wildly amazing to me that it's possible to make your face look like your face but *better* without going under the knife. This will cost you a cool $6-10k though and this price tag has always kept me in check.

Now my sister-in-law did not think I needed much done (thanks sis!) but did suggest masseter botox. Prior to going to her, I had gotten the typical middle of the eyebrows and forehead botox but wasn’t in love with the result because they were so subtle. But when I learned that botox in my jawline could take me from having a square jawline to an oval jawline (which, in a sense, made me look thinner), ladies and gentlemen, I was sold.

What made this procedure even better was that compared to forehead botox that needed touch-ups every 2 months, for masseter botox, I’d only need a touch-up every ~5 months.

Like I said, SOLD.

And do you see these results?! My face was snatched! I felt amazing and was obsessed with the results— and maybe that was the problem.
