When is the last time God gave you some instructions that simply didn’t make sense?

The longer I walk with the Lord, the more I realize that God’s ways are truly not my ways and that His thoughts are truly not my thoughts.

Sometimes this truth is frustrating but other times, it feels like such a beautiful gift.

What do you mean that my best attempts to plan my future and account for the plot twists pale in comparison with what God can see because He’s outside of space and time? What do you mean those small promptings to turn ‘right’ instead of left or go home a different way are all a part of His divine and perfect plan even when it feels so inconsequential?
