Let’s set the scene. It's a random Tuesday night. You’re scrolling on YouTube (or IG or TikTok). You start to see video after video of “prophets” and even pastors telling you:
That God spoke to them in a dream and revealed that your blessing is on it’s way
2025 is THE year Jesus is coming back
That 2025 is the year of increase, the year your fight is coming back, the year your strength is coming back, the year of super natural increase with $100k months, if only you would just BELIEVE it! (Never mind the fact that they spoke this same “prophesy” over you last year and there were no $100k months to be seen— that’s besides the point)
And some of what you read and hear makes you feel good!! It’s exciting! Yessss, THIS will be the year. And while it feels good (to our flesh) to hear these people supposedly speak on behalf of the God of the Universe and tell you these lovely things, there’s 2 things wrong with these “prophetic” words:
